[parisc-linux] cannot execute binary file

Hello,
I was able to install pa-risc linux. and now I am trying to use vnc remote
disktop.
I was able to untar the vnc file. but when I try to run ./vncconfig it says:
"cannot execute binary file" (bash shell) "cannot execute binary file" (c
shell). I tested my gcc compiler and it is fine, it can run the hello world
program.

I think i am missing some sort of libarary. can anyone help me with this??
In red hat linux 4, i can run these commands just fine.
