ok - I guess it should have been obvious to me that "bridge memory
resources" only meant the address space that was routed to the secondary bus.

FWIW, EPIC (V-class Host bridge) has local memory implemented in
the bridge chip (256KB IIRC). It used exclusively for "consistent DMA".

Good idea. I think that would make it more obvious which resources
we mucking with here.
