Ok, here's another repair from 2.2 -- and this one sucks because
it shows the unpredictability of working in this unsafe realmode code,
because if you use strcpy instead of real_strcpy you'll get a surprise.

After this you should get a command line from the (non-HPUX) boot loader
into the kernel, but something gets upset with the command line...
