Package: kernel
Severity: important

On parisc-linux (e.g. paer, running 2.4.9-pa82, or my box running
2.4.16-pa9)
randolph@legolas:~/tmp$ tar cvf /dev/null foo
tar: foo: Cannot stat: No such file or directory
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors

On other archs:
pippin[23:05] tmp% ln -s nofile foo
pippin[23:05] tmp% tar cvf /dev/null foo
foo

Something about dangling symlinks might be broken?
